My thoughts and anything about me
Just having passed my 41st birthday… and now its going to be a brand new year starting tomorrow.
That’s the good thing about having a birthday sandwiched between Christmas and New Year celebrations… everyone is still in a celebration mood all week and tends to be more generous and cheery.
What does breezing past 40 means to me? Well….
And in 2009, which will be tomorrow, here are the 12 things I want to do for a better life…
Wishing all an abundant year ahead. May you find joy in giving, fulfillment in sharing and peace with everything. Happy New Year.

Six weeks. Yesterday was exactly six weeks since I came back from Enlightened Warrior Training. And I was really glad and happy to meet up with my fellow Samurai Warriors last night.
And thanks to Lee, we had an excellent venue for our gathering. The food was good, the ” how are you” , “what have you been doing since EWTC”, and the catching up was great.
But what I enjoyed most was the warrior energy… I could feel the POWER of Samurai Warriors in the air, when we chant our warrior declarations on the roof top…
each and every warrior speaking without reserve,
with so much force and strength,
believing in every single word we say,
proclaiming to the whole Lorong 1 Realty Park and beyond,
the attitudes of a true warrior.
I think we rock the estate big time. Any Samurai reading this, do you think so?
How I truly wished the Sufi dance could be much much longer. Quite honestly, I wasn’t able to connect deeply with everyone. I wished I could feel the same way I had felt back then in EWTC when doing the dance.
Warriors, when we meet again, let us give the dance more time. Let’s bring up all the love in us and experience the feeling of being connected as One, once again.
Let us purge all our hatred, disappointment, resentments and upsets with our fellow humankind, faced in our daily life, with our Sufi dance.
We had fun sharing all round about our takeaways from warrior camp. And while everyone was sharing, I was reminded of what Harv said once, “ the NO. 1 reason why people don’t get what they want in life was because….
I should be pressing on to finish up on my resolutions and goals for 2009.
There is a saying that ….
Small minds discuss people
Average mind discuss events
Great minds discuss Ideas
Hey, I was a bit of everything last night…
To all the Samurai warriors that were not able to join us last night, you were deeply missed.
And warriors, when are we doing our next SA-SA-SA-SAMURAI and SEXMURAI again???

I must admit I honestly know far less about electric cars then I do about how Singapore’s first victim to terrorism, Ms Lo Hwei Yen, had been shot and killed in The Oberoi Trident, in Mumbai.
One can never be too sure what is in store for us tomorrow. In the sunday times report, her two sisters said they ” want to know what exactly happened to their sister in her last few hours at the Oberoi ” …….
That reminds me of a scene in the movie ” The Last Samurai “, when the Japanese emperor ask Tom Cruise how his ( emperor ) teacher had died on the battlefield:
Emperor : Tell me how he died
Tom cruise : No…. I will tell you how he lived.
From the reports I had read about Ms Ho, I think she had lived a glorious and fulfilling life and my deepest condolence goes to her parents, husband and families. A man does what he can…. until his destiny is revealed.
Now, talking about electric cars, I know they run on electric and so should be cheaper and kinder to the environment. I have no idea how long they can run on electric before a charge or how long can the rechargeable battery last.
But come 3rd Dec 08, “the first and only highway capable Electric Car in the region”, according to its founder Kian Wee, will be present in Money Mastery Toastmasters Club.
Kian Wee, who is also a member of Money Mastery Toastmasters club will be giving us a special talk segment about electric cars.
As I was told to do a post on electric cars on our toastmaster’s blog, I did some research online and found that someone was already selling a china made electric car in 88DB.com directory some time back in Jan 08.
And another report says that there were currently 3 petrol-electric hybrid cars in the local market: the Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrid and the Lexus RX400h.
So what is so special about the Magic EV? For now, i know it carries a unique registration plate number “MAGIC EV“, I vaguely heard that it has patented battery technology that enables more power and longer driving distance.
Transportation is the largest consumption and demand of energy from oil. Of all the pollutants and green house gases released into the atmosphere, transport accounts for 25% worldwide.
Each year, in assess of 10 billion tones of CO2 are emitted into the earth atmosphere. There’re an estimated 825 million vehicles worldwide today… Think about what we as a nation can do to save our environment by switching to electric cars.
And for more details, do join me on the 3rd of Dec 08 at 7.30 pm for an up close and touchy affair with Magiv EV. It will be parked at Safra Toa Payoh for the showcase.
Sneak peak at what will be on the road in 2010…
