10 Tips n Tricks to boost Metabolism
To boost metabolism and burn more fats, you could try out these cheap and easy tricks…
- Drink more cold water. Your body will try to keep itself warmer, in so doing, give your metabolism a boost. 8 glasses a day at least. Water is also needed for metabolism.
- Take more dairy product. Calcium,milk,yoghurt,low fat cheesse etc and reduce your caloric intake. Why? becos science said so, and its too long to elaborate and bored you with all the stuffs.
- Take 4-5 cups of green tea a day, it is equivalent to jogging for 6 mins. ( not the canned and sweetened kind please, and I’m not saying you should stop running).
- Take breakfast, the most overlooked meal of the day. You slow down metabolism dramatically when you skip Breakfast. Similar to starvation, metabolism is slowed down and only when food is introduced again will metabolism pick up. So you wanna jumpstart your metabolism the first thing in the morning. And keep it burning througout the day by constantly feeding it every 3 – 4 hours.
- Add more spice. A compound found in capsicum helps to increase metabolism. Pepper sauce like tobasco works equally well.
- Avoid alcohol, had been known to slow done metabolism. Thats why its call a beer belly.
- Reduce carbohydrate or cut it totally after 6pm. ( no rice,noodles,pastas,potatoes or any other starch for dinner ) , you could survive on fruits, fibres and proteins for 1 meal can’t you?
- Take enough proteins (lean meat) and essential oil (salmon). It can be in a concentrated powder/capsule/pill form.
- Get sufficient sleep of course.
- Do some exercise for your own sake.
